History
Barton Ridge began in 1996 when Howard and Elizabeth Barton purchased 1,500 acres just north of Rockford, Alabama. Over the years the property has grown and now covers an amazing 5,000 acres of owned and leased land.

Barton Ridge is a diverse wildlife habitat. For the last decade the focus has been on developing that wildlife while maintaining the natural state of the land. To accomplish this objective, the Bartons utilize the skills of a highly qualified Wildlife Biologist team.
Under this program, Barton Ridge has developed into one of the premier trophy animal areas in the entire Southeast.
